My name is Nikkei Nii Ayi Ayittey, and I am a 20-year-old Audio Engineering student at the Design and Technology Institute. I also have an interest in animation and videography, which allow me to express my creativity in different ways.
I developed a passion for music from a very young age. Coming from a musical family, I was constantly surrounded by music. My father plays musical instruments, and many of the women in my family are blessed with beautiful singing voices. This environment played a significant role in shaping my love for music.
As a child, I spent a lot of time with instrumentalists and audio engineers. I was always fascinated by the work they did during church programs and other events. Watching them set up and manage sound systems sparked my interest in audio engineering. Because I often worked alongside them, my passion for the field grew stronger over the years.
Today, I am pursuing Audio Engineering to further develop my skills and knowledge while also exploring animation and videography. My goal is to build a successful career in the creative industry and contribute meaningfully through my passion for sound, visual storytelling, and media production.
The project involved creating a traffic light and a sound score. Unfortunately, I was unable to fully complete the work because of limited time, but the experience helped me develop my skills and understanding of the process.
